I will shortly be reaching the wiring stage of a self build - I would consider a home automation package if it did not break the bank.
I came across a website for an operator in Cork (I have no association) called AV Homes in Doughcloyne Industrial Estate Cork
They are offering a special package of:
4 Zone audio/video distribution system consisting of :
4 Wall control units
4 Sets of in-ceiling speakers
1 Master Control unit
1 Video Switching unit
1 Remote Control
Power supply units
Complete Package : € 1685.00 plus vat
Is this good value? I am a novice in this area. Before I make contact, has anyone ever dealt with this firm and what were they like?
They are also offering a free of charge design service - too good to be true?
