Word of warning send documents online don't post. Postal response to applications is 53 weeks. I did mine in March 2023 , query June 24 from them posted response July 24 won't even be looked at till July 25
 
CF83 can be done online (see Key Post).

If additional documentation is requested, you'll have to send by post.
 
My recent follow up to a postal application was all dealt with in 3 months . I think the time frame was aug-October. Much quicker than expected . All done and payments made to HMRC in December were confirmed in December via telephone but not added online . This apparently can take several months to update .
 
Also take time to complete everything on the CF83, as I forgot to list jobs that might yet change my class, but once you complete online any changes must be made by post :( I'm just hoping they might be reviewed by the closing date. 3 months gives me hope @Homewardbound11

Can I ask which Helpline number you called to check if payments received ? Thanks

Once you make the application before the deadline they will assess you if after the deadline...
