Higher Cert in Financial Services, career options?

Hey All,
I have just gone back to college after loosing my job as an apprentice panel beater after 3 years anyway I am studying financial services in Athlone I.T it is a 2 year higher certificate and I was just wondering what kind of jobs and what sort of institutions will I be seeking a career in when im finished? like I had hoped to get a job in a bank and work my way up but is that possible with the qualification I will have? Any info you guys can give me will be very much appreciated.

Surely before you enrolled in the course you looked into where it would lead you?
What are the subjects?
