high polish porcelin tiles

hi all - i would like to get high polish porcelin tiles - anyone got them..and know of where I can purchase them at a good price...what do they generally come in at per sqaure metre
 
got mine at right price tiles for 20 euro a square yard.
 
thanks a mil - are they easy enough to maintain..ie do they streak etc
 
they are very easy to look after. we brush a few times a week and mop once a month. we dont have kids though. ours are cream with a little light brown marks on them. the exact same tiles were twice the price in other shops. buy the tiles from right price tiles but dont get the grout and adhesive from them
 
I put down porcelain tiles across my hall, kitchen/dining and WC earlier this year. Before buying, my dad got samples from loads of places and spilt various substances on them from red wine, to oil, to tea and found that the House of Vogue in Coolock ones cleaned the easiest. Found the Right Price tile ones absorbed a lot of the spills and it was permanent! Many, if not all? porcelain tiles need to be sealed when laid and then re-sealed every year or so. When I got the tiles they were on offer for 25euro a sq metre, delighted with them and everyone admires them, but find them quite time consuming to maintain! Generally hoover the floor first, then mop it with hot water and a small bit of flash, have to change the water a few times. Then I need to buff the floor with a dry cloth! Maybe there is a simper way of cleaning them and getting them streak free .... :)
 
if they are sealed properly then they wont absord any stains at all. you have to re seal every 2 years
 
how much is it to seal them...that sounds like maintenance..i am a bit worried now - anyone have an easier way to maintain
 
We looked at the high polished ones too but were totally turned off them when we enquired about the sealant. Advice in various shops ranged from annualy, 18 months and 2 years to re seal. The area we were tiling would require 3 lots @ currently €60 a pop . We ended up going for the matt finish which oddly enough doesn't require sealing !

mmwhat would go best with a white/cream kitchen...deffo need easy maintenance...any ideas
 
the sealer costs 25 euro in rite price tiles so it should be a lot cheaper somewhere else. i have 45 square yards and one bottle of sealer would do the job
 
water resistant timber looks great with a white kitchen.i have it with timber worktop

water resistant timber ,i'd love that in my bathroom, what is it and where did you get it?
