Has anyone had any difficulty completing the Restriction on Relief for High Income Individuals section on the ROS offline Form 11?

PS: I don't know whether it will help because sadly I don't qualify either as a High Income Individual...
 
There was an excellent section in last weeks Sunday Business Post which went through the 2009 Tax Return Form section by section.

I can't find an online link but it was very informative.
 
Thanks for that. I'm just entering a couple of figures but for some reason, the form is not allowing the relief! Will keep trying.

I don't think that Askaboutmoney is designed for helping professionals. Does your high-income client know that you are posting on the web for help in providing the service that he/she is paying for?

A lot quicker (and therefore cheaper) than trying for days to contact a ROS Liasion officer (if these people do actually exist in Revenue!)

Where does it say that asking questions on AAM is restricted to non-professionals anyway?

On re-reading the post - I think that the OP might be having 'technical difficulties' with ROS rather than queries re. calculation of reliefs etc.

Note that the OP didn't ask for help in relation to the service being provided and charged for. They merely asked if others had any problems in completing the form.
 
Correct, I have no difficulty in calculating the relief available to this individual. My problem is of a technical nature. I had no difficulty with filling out the 2008 last year, but for some reason the 2009 Form is not allowing the relief.
I didn't realise some individuals were so sensitive!
