I am a sole trader. My husband and I are jointly assessed. Due to an error made by my Husband's employer we do not receive full tax credits. Our tax credits are reduced by an amount due to revenue. Problem is when I try to submit Form11 online, ROS automatically calculates tax credits to be at full amount. Our actual tax credits are less. The actual tax liability is being calculated on ROS as less than what it should be. Obviously I have missed deadline for submitting Form11 in writting. Any suggestions?

There is a box in the PAYE income section on the ROS Form 11 return where you enter the PAYE deducted / refunded. Under that there is another box ( last box in that section) where you can enter the
"amount of PAYE tax underpaid ( amount collected by reducing your tax credits for 2008 )" .
If you enter the TAX amount being collected in 2008 then that will reduce the actual PAYE tax credited on ROS to the correct amount and not show the excess which is happening at present.
