Help with an existing solar system

I moved into my current home in 2015 which came with a solar system which just heats water - its worked well for a number of years but recently has stopped working. The system consists of a three panels which contain a gel type liquid which has to be topped up at semi regular intervals. I attach a link below to the system below and I apologise that I don't know its exact name or what type of solar panels they are. I had a guy look at it today to tell me that certain sensors were not working and would need to be replaced. He said due to the age of my system it was unlikely that anyone was still servicing them. He then tried to sell me a new system - god loves a trier! Anyways I was just wondering does anyone have something similar or know someone who could service it. Thanks in advance.

HI,
We had solar panels installed in 2011, it was part of a big job renovating a house we bought in 2011; the job was project managed by the architect we employed and we didn't have much insight into who many of the subcontracters were. We had problems with the solar a year or so ago and this crowd fixed the issue and serviced the system for us:

Hello,

If you aren't already a member, join the Irish Solar Owners Group, on Face.book.

It's got a super group of people on it, all helping each other, including plenty of enthusiasts, installers, and newbies.

You'll likely get a lot more expertise and assistance there, despite the good intentions of people here.

Thanks for the update, that's a change since last year. They hadn't installed our system but they knew what they were doing and got us sorted out quickly. It is probably going to get more difficult to get someone to look at these systems as time goes on and unfortunately there will also be a cost associated with de-commissioning them when the time comes.

You have solar thermal panels @Green, which we had for 18 years in our previous house - brilliant for hot water but largely superseded now by pv panels.

Have you tried googling 'solar thermal servicing'? Quite a few businesses came up for me when I did this.
