My father (70) is on vhi health plus premium, and my mother (68) is on laya control 300 create.
They both want cover for hi tech hospitals.
My father seems to think he's covered for all hi tech hospitals for certain procedures, special procedures and cardiac. No excess and no shortfall.
My mother seems to be covered with the 300 per claim excess, but the 200 per night shortfall at blackrock and mater concerns my father. And he wants to move her to his plan (health plus premium).
I see blackrock and mater tend to waive shortfall, at the moment, but wouldn't want to have to rely on this "good faith" going into the future.
Anyone have any advice on what plan might cover excess and shortfall in hi techs?
