Hi

I believe that my health insurer has breached the CPC.

My questions are, from a compliance/regulatory perspective, if my health insurer knows that it breached the CPC, is it obliged (a) to inform the CBI, and (b) advise impacted customers? Also, does the severity of the breach influence the reporting requirements - e.g. if it's systemic or a very serious breach? Where are the rules/guidance in this regard specified?

Any direction much appreciated. Thanks.

If you are confident that they have breached the Consumer Protection Code and you know that they know they have, why don't you report them to the Central Bank?
