Its health insurance renewal time for my single daughter aged 33 years.
Her current policy is Aviva Health Starter. Thankfully she is in good health.
She has a policy with Hospital Saturday Fund which costs € 24 per month.
What would be a good reasonably priced policy to go along with this.
Unfortunately money is in short supply.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for reply.

Hi Willie,

Welcome to AAM. The Aviva Health Starter plan is not good value, as it only covers public hospitals and is too expensive.
For a cheaper price you can have a plan with just public hospital cover or a plan with all 3 levels of hospital covered - public,private and hi-tech.

The following plans are worth considering;
1. Laya Future Protect; price 495pa; public hospital cover only.
2. Laya Flex 500 Explore; price 661pa; public,private and hi-tech hospitals covered. (500 excess payable if admitted to a private or hi-tech hospital,
no excess applies to any public hospital).

There is also a further 10% discount if you buy online at the moment.
