It's that dreaded time of year again, health insurance renewal time!

Can anybody suggest alternative cover to what we're on currently; 2 adults and 3 children. At the moment we have VHI One + plan for the adults and VHI One plan family for the children and are due to pay €2548 for the year (after tax relief). No ongoing medical issues, all heathy as trouts at the moment!

Welcome to AAM. The only alternative with similar cover at a slightly better price is VHI One Plan; Price 1038 per adult.
The children are on the correct plan with best value at the moment, One Plan Family, so no change needed there.
Any cheaper plans would have reduced hospital cover, in relation to hi-tech hospital cover.

I don't know your actual renewal date. Just to clarify One Plan will increase to 1095pa for adults from 1st May 2016.
The One Plan Family half price child price will end on 30th April 2016.
