You really need to do this (or at least estimate it based on past costs) for one full year in order to account for all annual payments and to then work out the average monthly outgoings. December is probably a bad month to start with but any single month won't be representative of the "average" month.Have a tracker in place and a budget completed until end of the summer. When i say takeaways i categorised all food shopping outside of the two weekly grocery shops in there also, but yes its far too much and one of the main focus points now to drop this significantlyYou spent €414 on takeaways, plus €968 on groceries - that seems like a lot, particularly on takeaways.
