Have the front two rows in the Gate Theatre a good stage view?

I'm booking some tickets for a show in the Gate Theatre for an elderly parent with limited vision. She has never been in the Gate before and I wondered if the front two rows in front of the stage give a good view?
This parent likes the front row in the Gaiety Theatre as the stage can be seen completely and she is close enough to see the action!

Front row in the Gate is right up against the stage so means craning your neck upwards to see the play. I would prefer to sit a few rows back, you'll still be very close but at eye level, much more comfortable.
