Have planning permission to build house in garden

hi have just got planning to build a new house in my garden and won’t to no the best way to go about it tax wise .I would love to keep my current house and rent it !! And move into new house ! Any ideas thanks all

Take a look through the threads in this forum that will explain what's required to register the rental property with the PRTB, how to go about managing it and the tax treatment of rental income.

If you need to source financing to complete the build, please post in the Mortgages and buying and selling homes forum, or look at similar threads in there already.
