I was asked what i was on now, so i gave a figure of my P60 takehome last year +€10k. They said it wouldn't be a problem. I am thinking 'Jeez.....'
If you gave your net pay plus 10k and they match it, you won't be much if any better off. It might be no harm to investigate this but be wary of registration fees, chrages for this and that.
Surely if they match the current pay plus an additional 10k on top of it then he is 10K better off...an extra 10K a year would be worth investigating

The OP said net pay plus 10K. When changing jobs its almost always gross salary thats given so he needs to be careful they dont take his net + 10K as what he expects as gross. To be honest I dont know why he mentioned net at all, always use gross for salary is the done think IMO
I received a Linkedin message from somebody who works in recruitment asking me to contact them as they have positions i may be suitable for
The other i said i did not have the suitable experience (very specific industry) but apparently this isn't an issue, they would be willing to train to bring in line with standards.
I am in a very stable job at the moment, good money etc. and it's a challenging role
