Has the Central Credit Register replaced the ICB?

No, ICB is still there. Both will run in parallel until there is enough history on CCR.
It's now mandatory for CCR to be checked before granting credit over 500.
 
Ok, so if an Ulster Bank customer wants to check if they have a blip on their record as a result of today's fiasco, they should still check the ICB?

Technically they could check either.
But it will be some stage next month before an issue today would be available. And the following month for some lenders as they allow a grace period.
