I am interested in hearing peoples experiences of Kitchen World

We have used them on three differenet occasions and cannot fault them. We have used the Finglas branch and highly recommend.

I hadn't heard of them but am wondering how they compare price-wise to the likes of B&Q or In-House or are they more high-end?

Got a price from them before Christmas and it was about 1.5k cheaper than C&C kitchens and far cheaper about €4k than in house for a high gloss white kitchen.

Thanks MsGinger.
I'd got a quote from in-house for the high gloss cream kitchen so maybe I'll give Kitchen World a visit.
I presume the quality is good?

Good service at Kitchen World- and price for my sister was about 1000 more than C&C. Overall, she was happy- but some veneer items don't match despite her being told by sales assistant, they would (wood!)

Thanks MsGinger.

To my untrained eye there didn't seem to be much difference!

I'm not sure if you were quoted on a plastic effect finish or a painted high gloss finish but i really think you should move out of Dublin for your quotes. All these companies sell kitchens but will not gaurantee the fitting of your kitchen, which in my view is the most important. I am not about to recommend anyone as i got a slap on the wrist previously, but you should move further afield as prices are cheaper when you move away from Dublin. The same goes for granite worktop, if you price companies directly you will save a fortune, my advice would be to price for granite worktops around the Wexford area.

I saved about €1,500 going with a granite fitter from Monaghan compared to prices I was quoted in Dublin.

Don....can you post the name of the fitter you dealt with in Monaghan please? Thanks in advance, apple1

I won a prize of a kitchen from Kitchenworld and cannot use it at the moment and would be willing to part with it for less than what it is worth. It can be any design.

Kitchenworld are currently in admin this an leed to liquidation therefore no warrenty on your kitchen

i used them and was really unhappy with the service and the kitchen in the end didn't match what we had agreed. Also doubled the cost of the fitter so be careful

I have used them several times on different projects. Both Longmile road and Deansgrange and found them helpful and informative. I have referred several of my clients to their showroom and they also are happy with the level of service and the price they are getting their kitchen for.

We fit the kitchen as part of our service, maybe that is where the difference / problem may lie as most fitters are independent operators.
