I live in a mid terraced house.
My next door (end terrace) is 3 bed house & on the other side of my house is 4 bed 3 storey house.
During this bad weather I noticed a bracket on the gutter on the rear side of my house broken & the gutter hanging. Also I noticed there is no down from the gutter of my house. There is only one down pipe & this is in my neighbours house. The water from the 4 bed house in draining into my gutter & goes all the way to the down pipe available at the end terraced house.
Is this right i.e having only one down pipe for 2/3 houses?
My house block is curved with the 4 bed house in the middle. If I am to install a down pipe I cant do it at the end because there is no drain. I'll have to do it in the middle. Is it okay to have only 1 drain for 2 houses & if I am to install a down pipe in the middle what would be the approx cost & can you recommend someone to do it. Thanks.
