There was a second person in the lorry who I understand is supposed to leave the lorry, sweep these awkward areas and sweep the footpath debris on to the road so the machine can suck it up. This person never left the lorry at any time as I watched

Dublin City Council workers recently gave me branded blue bags when I said I sometimes pick up local rubbish.

I leave the full bags out before bedtime beside a public rubbish bin and they are always collected by 7 am the next morning.
