Hi,Im looking for an electronic tuner for a guitar.
I need a really good/not basic one.
Anyone got any ideas of where to buy one in Dublin area or online,and approx cost?

Try musicmaker on exchequer st in Dublin 2.

Not sure what makes a good tuner over a basic one but I am sure they can help you in there.
 
Buy a [broken link removed] guitar and never have to manually tune again!

JP1234,could you ask your son which of these would be a good buy,I know advanced players will have no problems tuning a guitar with a very basic model,but I need an easy to use,easy to read one.Its not for an electric guitar.

If you have a SmartPhone ClearTune is an amazing tuner. $4 in the Android store and there's an iPhone version.

He says this one is good..if a little more expensive
[broken link removed] (it's his birthday next month, I think a bit of hinting might be going on at the same time as making this recommendation ;))

He has an ibanez and a boss tuner - both are brands he swears by as well. I think the first one he bought was a boss basic one for his acoustic, it cost about €5.00 and he is still using it now.

Hope that helps, I would have no idea what he is talking about most of the time when it comes to his guitars.

If you're in or around town you should just take a trip into Waltons on George St or Capel St. They'll have a good selection in there OR X Music in Ballymount.
