Grants for local authority housing

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if the CWO still gives you a grant for your white goods ( washing machine, fridge etc) when you move into a voluntary housing association house?

Cannot give you a definite answer, but with all the cutbacks I'd guess the level of contribution towards white goods has decreased. Might be best to contact your local citizens information centre. They generally have a good idea of whats going on.

There is no automatic entitlement or grant for these items, each case is looked at on its own merits based on income and ability to provide the items yourself.

As Tentman said, there have been cutbacks to Exceptional Needs Payments.
