Hi, I'm looking to buy in the Douglas area and have found a few properties in Grange. Are there any 'black spots'? Buying on my own and not sure of the area.
The area is not too bad or too good! No need to worry about living on your own and your only a short walk away from everything... What area are you thinking of moving into? Some of the estates such as Amberly are nice.
Before you buy drive around some morning at the time you would normally be going to work at. Sometimes the traffic is absolutely mental. It's hard to get down that hill to Douglas. Other than that it seems to be a grand area.
Thanks for the replies. I was looking in a few estates off Cooney's Lane but I'm looking at a few different areas on the opposite side of the city now that are not too geographically far out. So I've set my sights for the moment in the Blarney/Tower area. Definitely not as much happening out there but it seems like a nice area.
