Eir have expanded GoMo into fibre broadband.
Great initial offer at 29.99 EUR every 30 days for life.
They have a max termination fee of €184.50 which is what I’d have to pay too.I have four months left with a two year deal with Eir. I have a note saying it €3 a day cancellation. That would be over €360. Does that make sense or would there be a limit.
It’s probably paying the pull price per month even though discount is about half.
Yeah I'm the same, we both have the €9.99 GoMo sims which have worked out greatSigned up to GoMo mobile in 2019 and still with them for €9.99 a month. That’s one of the best long term things I’ve signed up to
Do you have just BB or BB and TV? My issue with moving to GoMo is I'll still need TV from someplace.Just signed up to Sky for BB in March so this deal from GoMo will have to wait unfortunately
The deal I got included Sky Stream (Sky TV) and Netflix for the year so yes includes TVDo you have just BB or BB and TV? My issue with moving to GoMo is I'll still need TV from someplace.
I presume, with GoMo you don't get Eir's customer service? Surely, they should be charging a lot more that 29.99?Eir have expanded GoMo into fibre broadband.
Not sure what you mean but I've been on Eir fibre broadband since last July and it's been excellent and the few times that I needed to contact support (mostly at purchase and installation time) they were great. Having said that I'll most likely be switching to another provider when my contract is up this July just to get the new customer deal elsewhere. I don't like paying the loyalty/inertia levy by staying put.I presume, with GoMo you don't get Eir's customer service?
So even though I found the above online link, when I just rang Eir there to check, I was quoted over €1,000 termination fee as I'm only a few months into a 24 month contract and the max termination fee doesn't apply. Won't be availing of this GoMo offer. They have a max termination fee of €184.50 which is what I’d have to pay too.

Eir had a very poor reputation of customer service but from my experience that's improved a lot over the last few years.I presume, with GoMo you don't get Eir's customer service?
That's the huge advantage. Not having to look around every 12 months and after 5 years everything increases in price but this BB price like their mobile offering should stay the same.So it's not a sizeable difference versus the Eir offering, but obviously this is then added to further down the line, you have to re-contract etc.
It was a poor attempt at a joke - the customer service being so bad, that you would pay more not to have it!Not sure what you mean
It's not in my experience. Maybe it was in the past?the customer service being so bad

Maybe you're on SIRO rather than OpenEir?Not available at my address
No issues with fibre broadband from other suppliers. Anyone any idea why this might be the case?
Does this use SIRO?
OpenEir only I think
Maybe you're on SIRO rather than OpenEir?
