Any help on this would be appreciated.
My kids have savings sitting in the credit union but I’ve been listening to a lot of financial podcasts and by the time the kids get to 18, a lot of value will have been lost.
I wanted to take some of their savings initially (3000) and invest them in a Global Index Fund.
I have done some research and one global fund I saw recommended was the FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund Accumulation.
However, it doesn’t appear to be available in Ireland (at least on Trading212 or Degiro).
The Vanguard FTSE All World (Acc) ETF is available on both Degiro and Trading 212 but I’m told it is an ETF and because of tax on ETFs, I would be better use an index fund.
Can anyone advise of a good Global Index Fund they’d recommend? And would I be better using Degiro or Trading 212?
Research to date seems to state Trading212 is easier to use and better when we will only be adding small additional amounts.
