Glen Timer Heater

Hi,
Im having trouble with 2 of the above heaters in an apartment.
When I put it on manual and turn it on there is an initial blast of heat and after approx 1 minute it turns itsef off (i can hear the switch flicking and turning itself off...(the heat temp is at the max)
In the past they have been working fine.
any suggestions are appreciated.

This could be a problem or faulty stat within the heater and not the timer. Glen is/was Dimplex and these stats can be replaced easly.
