Gift Tax - Savings account with relative

Hi All,

I am applying for a mortgage and some of my savings originate from a joint account that I held with my aunt over a number of years previous.

I just wonder where the position on this with respect to classifying this as a gift. I did the bulk of the saving, but it is not clear from the statement.
