You can't dip kitchen press doors in caustic you must hand strip them as you have been doing them..
Basically kitchen press doors are not made from using joings like a mortice and tennon they are made using glue lines which disolve when they are put into a caustic bath.
You can out it into a bath if you have a different solution in it ie one that is not water based.
About 25 years ago there was a guy called Quickstrip (or something similiar) in town somewhere who used to use nitromorse in a bath to strip stuff.
He didn't last long in business.
The reason old full size doors can be dipped is they were firstly well made (made by craftsmen who knew what they were doing, they left room in the panels for expansion and contraction) and secondly are made with mortice and tennons but also the wood in the was properly seasoned over a long period of time also they used single pieces of wood to make stiles and rails not engineered stuff.
OP the point I'm making again is don't get your doors dipped get them hand stripped, when I used to do this for customers I used to only do the face side of the door.
If you are looking for someone to do this for you PM me and I'll get someone to get in touch with you
