getting dvd movies online good sites/customs issues?

looking at getting some dvd movies online ,
questions
best/safest sites?
also concerned buying online in case the site turns out to be an .ie address shipping from a uk base so not only paying vat etc on item
i get done a second time when it arrives in ireland with irish customs ? so trying to avoid this (happened before )
 
Golden Discs have a small online collection. They're based in Ireland so no customs issues.
