Do I have to take my Mortgage Protection policy out through the Bank or am I allowed to get it elsewhere? I can get it significantly cheaper elsewhere on a like for like basis!
 
You can get it from the cheapest provider, start your search but do ensure like for like.

What type of policy is this. The cheapest is what used to be called ‘term’ insurance.
