Hi

looking for a recommendation for a builder in Dublin, have looked at past threads and they seem to be mostly for extensions or attic conversions or really big pricy jobs.

I just want someone to do a renovation on a former corporation house - put in internal wall insulation, install kitchen, replace bathroom and (budget allowing!) move a gas boiler and maybe put in some double-glazed windows. I'm looking for someone who would be a "one-stop-shop" for all of this (which obviously includes electrics and plumbing) and who could certify it.

Any recommendations from people who've had similar work done would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hi,recently Ive had a renovation job done.The guys who did it are also doing a bathroom and ensuite change for a friend and another friend is having a small extension to a back room done by the same guy,who has all the trades people required for the job,capender,tiler etc.Great job and very satisfied customer.PM me if you want more details.

Seamus Driver is a builder who, along with extensions and the like, I would think would do all the work you have mentioned above.

I've no connection with him, but he has done several jobs for me over the years and I would highly recommend him. I've done so to several friends and they are still talking to me.

I am based in Rush and got a guy in called Viv Gallagher who came highly recommended to us. He was brilliant. We got a garage conversion done, insulation, kitchen installed, wardopes put up and a few other bits and pieces. They did an excellent job and any snag items were solved without any hassle. We recently finished a rennovation on an old red brick in Dublin city. I can recommend our builder Janek Vivres 0857216382. He was very competively priced and did a great job. PM me if you would like more details.

Really appreciate all the recommendations, have set up some appointments now to get quotes. Wouldn't have known where to start without the people who took the time post here, thank you all :)
