Hi there,
I am looking for some information on the GE money flexi loan.
Does anyone know how easy or difficult it is to borrow from them?
My situation is..

My salary is 33k
I am a tenant paying 500 per month..
12k owed to employers CU
2k saved with CU
1K AIB personal loan
2k overdraft with AIB

I was declined for a consolidation loan in the past by Ulter Bank, and am not confident..

I don't think anyone who contributes to AAM will be able to answer that question to be honest. Best to apply and see what happens. You do seem to be fairly stretched.

Why not use the €2K to reduce the €12K debt to €10K or clear one of the other debts if more expensive? It doesn't make sense to maintain savings while borrowing even though many CUs insist on members doing this.

Why are you attempting to incur even more debt? It doesn't seem like a very prudent step.
 
I got accepted for a loan from GE money last week. They don't give loans for consolidation over 13k so tell them that the extra few grand is for a holiday. You shouldn't have a problem getting it. It was very straight forward.
