Might be changing to gas, does the No Standing Charge Tariff mean that when your boiler is off for the Summer for example, then you will owe nothing for that period.
 
Yes, that's correct. Note that the unit price for the first 2,870 units is over 50% more expensive on that tariff. After that, the unit price reverts to the standard rate. The difference between the two rates means you are paying the standing charge over those 2,870 units.

So in effect, if you use more than 2,870 units a year, you will pay the same amount overall regardless of which tariff you are on, and staying on the standard tariff will allow you spread the cost over the year.
