Garden from scratch - Dublin 7

Can anyone recommend someone to do my town garden (40 x 20 feet - plus a bit)? Its a blank canvas - ragged lawn and concrete path and I want something simple, tidy, low maintenance. Will include putting in a garden shed, patio/gravel, some planting/screening from the neighbours.

I'm fed up losing track of the guys who dont return my calls or even come to the house to assess it and then dont bother giving a quote! Its a few days of fairly standard work and I'm willing to pay a reasonable rate. What recession....

Rant over...any suggestions please?

I can recommend Nigel Stanley, a landscape gardener who did a job on my garden some years ago.

You might get cheaper but he's solid, keeps appointments and offers good practical advice. Nothing too flowery (if you'll excuse the pun).

I'm also searching for someone to do a job on my garden. Needs to be done from scratch. A guy had a look at it, measured it, was very enthusiastic, went away to come up with some ideas...two months ago.........
