    Hello,

I've just sold my house and now have a good sum on deposit.

I'm in no rush to buy a new house as I'm now living in a a house I usually rent out.

I plan to wait for the right opportunity to come up and see what happens with Brexit.

I'm wondering where I should keep these funds other than in the bank or prize bonds?

Keep the funds in cash in a bank as it sounds like you will need them in the medium term.

Look at the best buys for the best interest rates on deposit accounts

We're in same situation, likely to chuck 75% into prize bonds which will leave enough for a deposit on the new house. I think 12 weeks is minimum term for prize bonds.
