Hi all. I am looking into making a payment of E2000 per month into a Zurich Life fund through an intermediary. The allocation rate is 100% and the Management charge is 1.5% per annum. Are these figures reasonable? Thanks in advance.

1.5% seems high but it depends on what fund(s) and management approach (active or passive index/market tracker) it's for.

Thanks folks. Its described as an actively managed fund: The Zurich Dynamic fund. I was originally told it would be 101% allocation then it changed to 100% when the policy document arrived.

iv. Satisfaction period

On receipt of your policy documentation, you will have an opportunity to cancel the policy if you feel it will not meet your needs. To do this, you must return your Policy Document, Policy Certificate and a signed cancellation request to Zurich Life within 30 days. On receipt of the above, Zurich Life will refund all the premiums paid on your policy and Zurich Life’s liability for any benefits will cease. There may be an adjustment made to the refund
to cover any losses incurred on any single premiums as a result of a fall in the value of your policy between the start date and the date Zurich Life receives satisfactory written confirmation of your instruction to cancel the policy.

Thanks GSheehy. If the allocation was changed to 101% would that be enough to make the investment acceptable?
