Full Time or Part Time

Am planning to retire around the middle of next year. Would like to work part time from January onwards but will this greatly affect my pension? Have only been inthe Public Service for about 6 years so pension is small in any event. Would appreciate any advice.

If you work part-time, you will accrue your reckonable service more slowly.

For example, if you decide to work a 4 day week, you will accrue approx 10 months pensionable service every 12 months.
