FTB relief carries or not?

I'm getting FTB Mortgage Interest Relief of about €110 per month at the moment. I want to sell the property I have and buy a house with my girlfriend who is a FTB. I've used up 2 years of my higher rate relief so far.

Question:If I buy a house with my girlfriend do I still get 5 years relief at the higher rate (8000)? And, am I right in thinking she'll qualify for 7 years.

Yes, and yes. You won't have the FTB stamp duty rates, but you're correct on the mortgage interest relief.
