FSO process timelines to bring complaint

So I understand that one must first follow the banks/company's complaints process before escalating to FSO.

A letter requesting the final response in 21 days was sent.

Its now 60 days later and other than an acknowlegement of my letter there has been no response.

Do I have to continue to wait for the final response or can I go to the FSO now?

Anyway I've found the answer; the organisation have 40 business days to reply, so 8 calendar weeks.

If they don't reply in 8 calendar weeks, you can progress to the FSO complaint.
