Freelance Work

Hi,

I am currently working full time, but luckly I have a few half days in the week. So I was considering doing some freelance work, but I need to know how this will work tax wise? If I keep all my tax credits with my employer, how do I tax my freelance work?

You'll become self-employed and a chargeable person and therefore must submit income tax returns and pay preliminary tax each year.
