freelance full time work and holiday pay

Hi there - I've surfed a few employment websites but can't find an answer to this - it relates to a person who is working 5 days a week, 8 hours a day for the same company but is considered freelance, ie she is registered self employed and is paying her own VAT, tax etc. Is she entitled to any holiday pay? She's been working for the company for 18 months.

My understanding of someone who freelances is that their fee incorporates an allowance (or should) for holiday/sick pay. Same with any self-employed person.
