Hi I am doing a form 11 tax return for rental income on a property, the form is pre-populated and I think I am doing everything correctly but when I go to calculate it’s not showing the tax my husband would’ve paid in his employment. I’ve gone back over the form and I cannot see anything that I have not ticked or filled in any advice?

Is your husband's employment tax shown on the Paye/Bik/Pensions (1) page ?

This tax amount should then appear as Emoluments (spouse or self) on the calculation page

2024will be our first year jointly assessed, my husband is employed. I’m not.
On the Paye/Bik/Pensions it does not show taxes that were paid in employment. It only shows USC.

You will have to manually enter your husbands income tax.
This should be shown on his last payslip for 2024.
It should also be shown in his employment review for 2024. This is obtainable in his myaccount. Although if it was there it should be on the prepopulated form 11.

Thanks, I will check his p60 tomorrow for the details. Never had to do this in previous years as all the details would be on the prepopulated form, maybe it’s just a glitch
