Hi,

i would really appreciate someones help with this, I'm at my wits end.

I am trying to complete my form 11 for my small side hustle.

In the self employed income section within Form 11, the calculation for Net Trade Profit/Loss is either experiencing a glitch or I am doing something wrong.

In essense, anything entered in the Income or Purchases sections is being ignored and my "net trade loss" is only showing me the sum of my expenses. See the attachment snips from ROS where the net trade loss is 8,000 which is just the sum of my expenses, the amounts i entered in in income and purchases are ignored.

This cannot be correct surely? Does anyone know what could be done to fix this

Would really apprecisate any help

Your problem is that you have entered your gross profit as zero.

Based on the entries in your screenshot it'd be logical for the gross profit to be 9,700 (8k + 2k - 300).

The form would then calculate the net profit as 1,700.
