Foreign national state pension

Hi ,

sorry 3 questions rolled into 1

I was wondering if a person from the EU who has resided in Ireland for 5 years is entitled to a state pension?

Or how long would he have to be in Ireland to receive this pension?

What would happen if he left the country to go back home permanantly before the 5 years had passed?

Did you check the qualification criteria for the different sorts of state pension on www.welfare.ie ?
