Hi,
Any feedback on the new focus, in particular the TDCI version
i.e. mpg etc
Cheers
B

I've owned 2 C-Max's both with 110bhp TDCI engines.

c. 40mpg around town, and up to 65 mpg on a country run. Onboard computer is great :D

Good punchy engine too, and the overboost is fun - it flies for a few seconds which is great for overtaking.

Refinement is excellent too.

HTH.

All cars are expensive. VRT is cruel. The Focus is the best car in it's class - a fact acknowledged by virtually every commentator, but is not the most expensive.

Some models are very well equipped. All are well built safe and reliable.

I'm biased, since I benefit from the Ford Employees scheme and having owned 6 of them so far (I'm selling 2 btw) but there's nothing to beat them imho.

The TDCI is a great engine. 1.6 110bhp version is the best. Joint engine development with Peugeot.

I have just bought 2005 Ford Focus new model, zetec, 1.4. I find it a great car, reasonably priced. I hear the diesel is very good and would consider upgrading to one if I could find a 2005.

Just bought a 1.6 TDCI car/van for business use.
Have done 796km on 50e fuel and still at quarter full
Nice drive as well

Diddles,

Just about to buy a Focus van myself. Going for the 1.6tdci (90 bhp).

Doing the deal tomorrow.

Let me know the mpg when the tank is empty.

Any other thoughts?
