I am thinking of giving a gift of a flying lesson - does anyone have any experience/recommendations of where is a good place to book?

Thanks

I did this a few years ago - flying school just beside dublin airport - can't remember the name but highly recommend the idea.

My husband got several gifts of these (from different people) over the years but never used them...a total waste. Make sure they are right for the person before you spend the money.

I got one - I think it was through gifts.ie - about 2 yrs ago and went for my lesson late summer of last year. I did it in Weston. I found it to be a great present. I was fortunate too that they were flying out in the direction of where I live in Meath and was able to get photos of my house, estate, village etc.
I had always dreamed of getting my PPL as I love travel and flying. I think I'll stick to using it for hols/travel only though.

Done one at sligo airport, well cool. Still have to do 20 minutes flight!
