Curious if anyone has been reimbursed for the flu vaccine costs on their health insurance this year?
My plan includes it with the insurers preferred provider, who due to the shortage of supply this season is declining appointments. They suggested using the 50% GP cover option which I estimate will be a higher cost to both the Insurer and myself, rather than just fully covering a vaccine cost from any pharmacy.

Have you checked with your local pharmacist if you can get if for free? Because I'm on blood pressure XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX I got it for free, which I was amazed at, and my wife did too, as my carer!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm just put out that my health insurance should cover it fully, but they will only cover half.
I got a call yesterday to say that in their terms and conditions such cover is subject to availability at all times, and currently there is no availability with their preferred supplier.
