Floor insulation

I spent last weekend laying the first of two layers of kingspan floor insulation. With the rain this week water has gathered under the sheets of insulation. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems and if so any suggestions as to what I can do. Thanks.

the concrete will boil off all the excess water. It will just take longer for the floor to go off.

Squidge, did it take you long to lay the floor insulation ? Whats involved ? Does the floor have to be clean and flat ? I have to put down 80mm of Kingspan insulation.

Is there not a requirement to put at least 500 gauge plastic sheeting over the insulation before pouring the screed? This would trap the water underneath and take ages to dry out. I was told by one of the pour screed guys that the plastic is to prevent the sheets from floating to the top when putting in the screed.
Would taping the joints be sufficient if the insulation is fitted tightly?
I am hoping to put in 75mm Kingspan or Xtratherm with 75mm easi screed on top. (No underfloor heating).
If anybody has sourced 75mm insulation at a good price i would be glad to hear from you.

I am building a 2500 sq ft house - 1300 sq ft on the ground floor. I layed a 100mm subfloor first which was clean and flat. I am laying two 60mm layers of Kingspan Insulation. It took me approx 10 hours to lay the first layer on my own as there was a lot of cutting involved. The sheets are butted tightly together. It would be more efficient to have 2 or 3 poeple working on it.
