Hi,

have just put down 100mm of floor insulation as 2 separate 50mm boards.
However I haven't managed to cover the waste pipes and as they are sitting around 70mm off the finished floor and am just wondering if anyone can advise me on the best way to insulate this section of floor?
Is there any sort of foam insulation that can be sprayed around and above these pipes to bring them up to the level of the regid board insulation?

hi Scoocher,

I am taking up all the laminated floors in a new(old) house I have just bought. I need to redo the whole plumbing.
While the are up, I might as well put down some floor insulation. But it cannot be too thich as the door would not close/open and the door saddles are very low. Also i will be replacing the laminate.
Its a bungalow around 1650 sq ft.

Can I ask what you used and if I could use this? Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot,

John
