Flat Rate expenses?

Hello,

I have never claimed for the above and recently applied via revenue website.

The allowance is:
2005 - €191
2006/7/8/2009 - €275

I realise that the 2009 allowance will prob be given as a credit but am I correct in saying the previous years will be refunded by cheque?
