Fixed Term contract - notice period

Hi there,
Wondering if anyone can advise re. the following:

- I'm on a fixed term contract which ends on December 22/12/18 (one year contract)
- I have not yet received a new contract
- There is no mention of a notice period in my contract or in the organisation's HR policies

I have applied for a job in another organisation and I'm wondering should I get an offer what my notice period would be be or if because I don't have a current contract I could actually leave straight away should I decide to do so ?

Has your employer not mentioned the fact your contract was up? I presume you have finished up working there as of tomorrow? Or were you planning to keep attending work anyway?
 
Technically you are done. You should send the employer a courtesy email to note this and wish them well.
 
Thank you Debbie and gravitygirl! I did ask my employer about a month ago what the story was with my contract and they said they will send a new contract at the latest in January.
Waiting to hear if I was successful with my application for another job, so will take my time if that new contract arrives
